On May 19, 2018, the fourteenth edition of the European night of the museums will take place in Sofia. During the event, dozens of museums and galleries in Sofia will open their doors and show for free interesting exhibitions, concerts and various art events.The total number of participating galleries and museums this yeal will be 48 and the full list as well as more information about the different cultural events they will offer can be found in the official program on the site of the French Culture Institute (under whose patronage the museum night is held) .Some of the major museums participating are the National Gallery / Square 500, National Museum of Military History, National Gallery / Museum of Socialist Art, National Ethnographic Museum, National Museum of History, National Literary Museum - Ivan Vazov House Museum, National Museum of Earth and People, National Polytechnic Museum and many others.
